Glastonbury Festival:

 
Glastonbury festival attracts thousands of music fans every year. This festival is located at worthy farm in Pilton. The dates for this festival (2010) are Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th June. This festival first started in 1970, and now has an average attendance of 150,000 people. This festival is classed as the biggest Greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world, attracting the earths biggest artists from the Happy Mondays to Jay-Z. Ticket prices are around £195 including all charges and fees. Everyone must visit this festival at least once in their lifetime.

V festival:

 
V festival is also a very popular UK festival due to the artists who perform there ever year. This festival takes place at two venues, Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire. The dates for this festival (2010) are Saturday 21st August to Sunday 22nd. Ticket prices average around £135, but there are many options e.g. non-camping and day tickets etc. This years artists include Kasabian, Stereophonics, and Kings of Leon etc.

Cream fields:

 
Now opening for the 13th year, The Creamfields Festival 2010 will take place from Saturday 28th to Sunday 29th August at Daresbury Estate, Halton in Cheshire. This is a massive event for those serious clubbers with love dance music from top electronic acts from around the world, such as David Guetta. This year's lineup is artists such as Deadmau5, Audio Bullys and Calvin Harris etc. Tickets are priced at £100 + booking fee.

Reading Festival:

 
If you are a fan of punk, rock, or indie music then you must attend the 2010 Reading festival. This Festival takes place over the August Bank Holiday Weekend from Friday 27th August to Sunday 29th August at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading. The lineup is still to be confirmed, and tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks. This festival holds around 87,000 and is full every year. Tickets are priced around £250 for the weekend.

T in the Park:

 
This event takes place at Balado, near Kinross shire, Scotland, and takes place from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th July 2010. The Festival is now open for its 17th year, and some of the acts confirmed for 2010 include Eminem, Kasabian, David Guetta and many more. Tickets are prices around £180 for the weekend, this includes camping, and other ticket options are available.
